How Two Coasts handles personal data, whether you are a buyer or tenant being introduced, or an agent using the desk.

If you have been registered as a buyer or tenant

This is the same notice your agent is asked to read to you before registering you.

Who this data is shared with
Two Coasts and the introducing agency both hold this record, as joint participants in recording the introduction. You can ask either of us whose data this is and why.
Why we're collecting it
Solely to record that you were introduced to a property by the named agency, and to establish who is entitled to any commission if you purchase it. We don't use this for anything else.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email (if you provide it), the property/area you're interested in, and the date of introduction. We do not collect a passport or ID document at this stage.
Legal basis
Depending on your location, we rely on your consent (given here) or on our legitimate interest / contractual necessity in recording a property introduction accurately.
How long we keep it
Your name, phone, and email are kept for up to 24 months from your last activity. After that, we keep only a non-identifying record (a cryptographic hash, date, and property) for up to 10 years, to match the legal time limit for a commission claim in Thailand — long enough to resolve a dispute, without holding your contact details past their operational need.
Where your data is processed
Your data may be processed in the UAE and/or Thailand, and by our cloud provider, wherever your agency and the introduced property are based. Appropriate cross-border transfer safeguards are in place.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct your data. You can ask us to erase it — we will honour that by irreversibly removing your name, phone, and email, while keeping the non-identifying evidentiary record described above for the retention period.
No marketing use
We will not use this to market to you, and we will not sell or share it beyond what's needed to record the introduction, unless you separately opt in.

Using the desk

If you are an agent using the desk
We hold your name, email, phone and which agency you belong to, so your introductions can be attributed to you and your colleagues can be shown the right work. Your account exists until you or your agency ask us to close it.
Notifications
If you turn on notifications, we store the address your browser gives us for that device, and nothing else about the device. Notifications never contain a client's name. Signing out removes the device from our records, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.
What we never collect
No passport or identity document at registration. No payment or bank details: the desk never holds client or commission funds. No location tracking, and no advertising or analytics profiles built from your use of the desk.
Who else sees the data
Our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider (Supabase) and our email provider (Resend) process it on our behalf under contract. We do not sell data, and we do not pass a buyer's or tenant's contact details to another agency.
Your rights and how to use them
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it, subject to the retention period above where a commission claim may still be live. Email the address at the foot of this page and we will answer within 30 days.
